Mike Pace brings 10 years of IT experience to Network & Security Technologies. He provides consulting services to support security policy, network architecture, and infrastructure operations for energy management systems.

Before joining N&ST, Mr. Pace led an initiative to virtualize over half of the Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC) data center. Doing so enabled them to comply with Arkansas’s Green Initiative and reduce cost by removing declining technologies from their inventory. He, also, led the team to redesign the architecture of the network to provide greater security to ACIC, Arkansas State Police, Little Rock Police, National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS), and National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

In earlier work at the ACIC, Mr. Pace worked with leadership to identify declining systems, determine emerging technologies, and define priorities for hardware replacement. Mike then deployed an infrastructure refresh program in the Criminal Justices Information System (CJIS) including a new security policy. He assisted other parts of the agency to create policies for virtual private networks, data encryption, user identification, and advanced authentication standards.

Mr. Pace began his career building network infrastructure and deploying new accounting and project management applications for a Little Rock Arkansas advertising firm. The project included build-out of a new network in a new space including installation of all data and telco services. In another early assignment, Mike coordinated teams to transition voice and data services for multiple healthcare offices, including migrations to voice over IP (VOIP) telephony.

Mr. Pace holds a Bachelors degree from Henderson State University in Arkansas and is a Certified Virtualization Expert.
