Network & Security Technologies security implementation consultants provide implementation assistance for the following technologies:

• PKI
• VPN
• Firewall rule set
• Router configuration
• OS policy

Security implementation consultants must be able to perform regular audits of network and firewall configuration and identify vulnerabilities and methods to eliminate them.

Candidates should have significant expertise in one or more security areas, and should have demonstrated outstanding project management experience in a leadership role.

Required Experience:

• Development and implementation of enterprise-wide information security audits, security architectures, designs, policies, procedures and processes.
• Enterprise-wide risk management and awareness training and education
• Information Security training program assessment and evaluation

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of security implementation for the following technologies:

• Security Authorization/Transaction, Network Security (VPN, SSL)
• Public Key Technology (PKI)
• Cryptographic tools, methods, systems and protocols: HTTPS, IPsec, PGP, DES
• Mainframe Security. 
• Firewalls (Gauntlet, Cisco PIX, CheckPoint, Raptor)
• OS Hardening: UNIX, Argus, Solaris and Microsoft Operating Environments
• Security Policy and Procedure Implementation
• Intrusion Detection Environments and forms of attack
• Exceptional writing, interpersonal communication and presentation skills is a must.

Strong written and verbal communications skills required.

In this position, you will be involved with a variety of Internet and Fortune 1000 clients. You will also be working closely with our client base developing security solutions as well as dedicating a portion of your time to pre-sale client support.

Responsibilities:

• Implement security policy (firewall change mgmt, regular audit process, etc.)
• Collect business/technical requirements for various initiatives
• Project manage large projects with client staff and contractors/vendors/consultants as necessary
• Identify and coordinate implementation of tools for firewall mgmt/monitoring/intrusion detection, virus scanning, secure smtp, etc
• Oversee departmental security designs and consolidation of various security solutions 
• Work on client teams to design low risk implementation of solutions

Bachelor's degree required
